The Younger Primes are getting excited about February 14th! They have been “valentining” all week. They used construction paper, doilies, crayons, markers, decorative tape, glue, scissors and stickers to make their special creations. Many of them were eager to deliver the valentines to their family mailboxes. Children have been talking about what type of valentines they are bringing to school on Monday – “I got my little pony ones!” or perhaps “Mine are sharks!” There has been delightful chatting about conversation heart candies. They have compared their flavors and deemed them to be yuck, lemon, minty or DUHlicious. Today, they decorated bags to collect their valentines on Monday. One important thing children figured out today is that there are only 3 more sleeps until the big day!
