Parents and Toddlers February 19-26, 2019

Hello Families,
It’s been a chilly February! Please make sure to send your child with gloves, hats, snow pants, and waterproof boots. Outside, the toddlers have enjoyed sweeping the snow off the block deck, sliding down the slide, stomping in puddles, riding in the wagon, and exploring the muddy hill in the Main Yard.
Inside, we continue to focus on fine motor skill development, language acquisition and enrichment, conflict resolution, social-emotional development, creative expression, sensory work, and building our classroom community. The children enjoy manipulating play dough, serving each other food in the kitchen, dressing up, playing with the trains and train tracks, creating art, painting at the easel, writing on whiteboards, doing puzzles, and exploring in the sensory table. On Monday,  the children washed babies and rubber ducks in the sensory table. Tuesday, it was filled with dry oatmeal, glitter, dinosaurs, scoops, funnels, and bowls.
Our class worked on our Auction project this week. Thank you to Bri and Demmi for your help.
Reminders:
Earlier this year, a professional photographer took pictures of the children for the yearbook. They are available for purchase. Use the link and password below.
