Hello Summer OP Families!
The end of June brought us our hottest days yet. We went on our outing early in the day on Tuesday. We walked around St. John’s Cathedral and searched for types and modes of transportation. Here are a few OPs found:
- Hot air balloon
- City bus
- Lawn mower
- FedEx truck
- UPS truck.
Wednesday brought Water Day, where we finally got to use the “Reusable Water Balloons”.
Thursday morning, two OPs spotted a fledgling bird on a tarp on the side yard. We all had a chance to quietly see it from a distance. It then tried to make it to a tree and landed on our climber! Hanna gently moved the bird outside our play area where it flew away to meet its parents.
The picnic and outside time was warm and relaxing. OPS shared they’d like to keep using yoga mats after lunch and sunscreen for gentle play time. By the end of outside time, all OPs were resting on them in the shade.
Friday brought July, reminding us there is no school on Monday, July 4th due to Independence Day.
