PARENT/TODDLER PROGRAM

MONDAY AND TUESDAY 9:00 – 10:45

Parents and Toddlers meet weekly to provide parents an opportunity to gain understanding about child development, hone parenting skills and find support among other parents of young children. As children play in a supervised group, parents are able to watch, listen, discuss and understand the issues behind toddler behavior and their own child’s unique personality. On Tuesdays, parents may leave the school during program time if they choose.

10 – 12 families; 1 discussion facilitator, 2 teachers. This program is for two-year-olds who will turn three between March 1 and August 31.

Tuition: $350/month

2-3-4 YEAR OLD CLASS

W-TH-F 9:00 – 11:30 (F is an optional lunch day 11:30 – 12:00)

Children in this morning preschool class have a curriculum built around a daily rhythm of activities and routines designed to provide continuity, stability, and sound social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The curriculum includes dramatic play, blocks, art, music, cooking, stories and woodworking. Early academic skill building occurs throughout the school day. There is a balance between indoor and outdoor activities, as well as play based experiences. Emphasis is on building community, developing play relationships, and becoming comfortable expressing ideas and needs within a group. Parents confer informally with teachers on a daily basis to share in their child’s activities and well-being.

12 children, 2 teachers. This program is for two-year-olds who will turn three between September 1 and February 28, and children who are three and will turn four between September 1 and August 31st.

Tuition: $500/month

3-4-5 YEAR OLD CLASS

M & T 12:30 – 4:00 (lunch days) and W & Th 1:00 – 4:00 (4:00-5:30 option)

Children in this afternoon preschool class have a curriculum built around a daily rhythm of activities and routines designed to provide continuity, stability, and sound social, emotional, and cognitive growth. The curriculum includes dramatic play, blocks, art, music, cooking, stories and woodworking. Early academic skill building occurs throughout the school day. 14 – 16 children, 2 teachers.
