Our Community
TCS has a 30-year tradition of service to the broader Boise community and builds outreach programs that advocate for the whole and healthy development of children and families.
TCS provides guest speakers, workshops, and educational DVDs that bring national expertise "home" to our community. Local parents and child-care professionals benefit from these outreach efforts and help make the Boise area an even better place to raise children.
The Children's School values diversity and welcomes families without regard to race, religion, ethnicity or family origin. In addition, the school strives to be accessible to all families and, therefore, offers a financial assistance program.
Finally, TCS links classroom curriculum to the broader community by developing relationships with businesses, individuals, and other schools that are able to add high-interest content. These qualified and vetted educators connect classroom lessons to real life and reinforce a sense of community within children. Drawing from and giving to the wider Boise community we-as parents, teachers and students-discover our own power to learn and affect change.
